Situation: Element Logic's flagship product, eManager, which operates the AutoStore robotic logistics system, is developed by five different teams that require a dedicated designer.

Task: I am tasked with creating a new design for the eManager software unit, while also establishing a design system to streamline processes.

Action: I focus on designing the eManager interface, fostering continuous collaboration with developers to ensure alignment and integration of design principles. Additionally, I manage both operational and strategic design responsibilities to support the teams effectively.

Result: my efforts lead to a cohesive design for the eManager software and a robust design system, enhancing the overall user experience and fostering better collaboration among the teams.

Situation: led UX/UI design and development for Ericsson's MWC 2020 sales demo. Conducted user research, coordinated schedules, and applied various UX methodologies.

Task: negotiated with clients, administered projects, and managed teams across projects to meet requirements and company goals. Managed resource allocation and resolved blocker issues effectively.

Result: my team delivered the MWC 2020 sales demo until handover, meeting project goals and KPIs. Upheld company interests, managed teams effectively, and navigated challenges for project success.

(Side note: unfortunately the event of MWC 2020 didn't take place, due to COVID, and therefore we couldn't demonstrate the final result to the audience.)

Situation: assessed the need to transform a monolithic internal application into a user-centric service aligning with organizational goals.

Task: translated business requirements into development tasks, conducted global user research, prioritized features, and applied diverse UX methodologies.

Action: conducted global user research, designed a user journey, and applied various UX methodologies to enhance the application's design. Tested solution iterations and monitored progress based on OKRs.

Result: successfully transformed the application into a user-focused service, improving usability, and aligning with organizational objectives.

Development Team LeaderCommsignia2017 – 2018

Situation: The organization was developing a complex V2X solution that required close coordination across multiple development teams and technologies, while leadership needed better visibility into progress and long-term direction.

Task: I was responsible for leading cross-functional developer teams (C, C++, and Java), improving how resources were allocated, and creating clarity for both short-term execution and long-term organizational goals.

Action: I introduced agile ways of working to optimize resource allocation, led and aligned the development teams around shared priorities, and established clear OKRs. In parallel, I translated delivery and performance data into actionable analytics for management to support informed decision-making.

Result: The teams operated more efficiently and with better focus, management gained clear insight into progress and risks, and the organization aligned around a sustainable long-term development plan that supported successful delivery of the V2X solution.

Senior Project ManagerAImotive2016 – 2017

Situation: Volvo’s self-driving car initiative required strong technical and people leadership across international teams, close collaboration with external partners, and rigorous coordination across development, quality, and delivery.

Task: I was responsible for taking a key leadership role in the project, ensuring effective collaboration with Nvidia, managing end-to-end project execution, and leading a diverse, international engineering team.

Action: I led software development in close partnership with Nvidia, owned project planning, resource management, development, QA, and procurement, and coordinated cross-border travel and negotiations. I actively coached and supported a team of 9–12 engineers, fostering collaboration across nationalities and aligning everyone around shared goals.

Result: The project progressed in a structured and predictable way, cross-company collaboration functioned effectively, and the engineering team delivered high-quality outcomes while growing in capability and cohesion under strong, hands-on leadership.

Scrum MasterNNG (Nav N Go)2014 – 2016

Situation: The organization was running multiple parallel development efforts across 12 core teams, creating a need for better coordination, transparency, and predictable delivery against defined KPIs.

Task: I was tasked with improving resource allocation between core development and project teams, strengthening processes, and ensuring leadership had clear visibility into progress and performance.

Action: I actively negotiated resource allocation between teams, promoted knowledge sharing and transparency, and facilitated the rollout of agile processes and recurring routines. I also consolidated and reported weekly progress and improvement updates from all 12 core teams to upper management, using predefined KPIs to track delivery.

Result: Resource conflicts were reduced, teams worked more consistently within agile frameworks, management gained a clear and reliable overview of delivery status, and projects were delivered on time in line with established KPIs.

UI developerNNG (Nav N Go)2007 – 2012

Situation: involved in designing, developing, and maintaining the user interface for navigation software, contributing to the project's success and understanding the software development cycle and SaaS concept.

Task: participated in creating car- and pedestrian navigation as a part of many car manufacturer's own software and iPhone and focused on interaction design, user interface, and UI kit development.

Action: played a key role in establishing and maintaining the design system, ensuring consistency and efficiency. Enhanced the user interface for seamless navigation experience by applying expertise in interaction design and UI kit development.

Result: successfully contributed to developing and maintaining the navigation software's user interface, improving the overall user experience and project success.
